Picked up the Oct/Nov 2009 SnowTech rag today.
With the front cover at the top...
2009 long term test... 1000s of miles

The XTX is in there.
They only rode it 375 miles and said the XTX handles poorly.
(scared them)
Didn't even give it a chance in my opinion or make any note of trying different setup settings or ski carbides etc.
Meanwhile they put real miles on Doos, Poos and ACs
And to think I was going to renew my subscription!!! Humm.

Here is the basic numbers.
XTX - 375 miles - 571 pounds
MXz Adren. E-TEC - 3053 miles - 452 pounds
Switchback 600 - 3271 miles - 548 pounds
AC TZ-1 - 771 miles - 677 pounds
Renegade E-TEC 2536 miles - 486 pounds
AC F8 SnoPro - 2722 miles - 537 pounds
Dragon 600 SP - 939 miles - 494 pounds
AC Crossfire 800 SnoPro - 1953 miles - 482 pounds

I left out the Yamaha GT touring sled since they didn't ride that much either.

My thoughts...
It sucks wind when an XTX test sled is deliverd without some decent setup before a magazine gets thier turn on it.
