Longer snow flap

Is their a longer snow flap available for 05 RX1. or it is ok to move orginal snow flap down an inch or two?

I got a new apex (yamaha) sno flap, bolted right on my 03 rx-1, I love the way it looks

Yeah I went that way also. Can't rip it off backing up (3 times this year with old style) and it looks better that the flat flap.

I have ripped mine off once, but typically it bends in towards the track every time I back up into snow. I noticed the metal that the flap is bolted to is very flimsy. As anyone reinforced this before using a new flap? I like the idea of an Apex flap.
