a pretty large dealer has a 08 left over im interested in hes asking 8700 plus tax and fees im sure. Is it worth picking up an 08 vs a 09 or 10 ive read around that there were some handling issues with the 08s that were fixed in 09. Just looking for some input

That seems a little high on the price if you ask me, I know some dealers were selling them around $7600- $7800 last spring
That is way to much for an 08. 09 RTX's are going for about 7800 around here.

ok so hes about 700 over what it should be selling for.. could be that its the start of the season and hes tryin to get what he can for it

Just picked up my Nytro an 08 MTX with reverse for 7200 plus tax......he is high IMO
That is WAY to high. Last spring I picked a new '08 RTX for 6800 out the door with a custom cover.

Guys!!! Regardless of how much he is willing to pay for a Nytro, instead answer his question.
I have a 08 Nytro and have done alot to get the handling under control. New C&A Razors with 7.5 Shaper Bars, 144 gold diggers down the middle. I had to adjust the suspension abit to tame it down. Biggest adjustment was toe'ing out my skis 1/2". We have all been riding our Nytros for miles and learned to live with a few issues the 08's have. The 09's, I was told handle alot better then the 08's. Thats your call. Spend a few more dollars for the 09 or save some money on the 08 and buy some new skis.

You should be able to pick up a 09 for much less than that, and then have cash in your pocket, and no worries about the 08 handling issues. There are a ton of 09 leftovers out there, and they are going for under 8,000 most places. I picked up a 09 for $7,900 with very little effort. plus there is a $1,500 rebate on 08 and 09s so he is actually trying to get $10,200 for that sled. Good luck with what ever you decide.

wow didnt know there was a 1500 rebate out, damn NO deal there at all, thanks guys I'll keep looking, switching over to all 4 stroke this year, selling my old sno pro and givin the old man the phazer, would really like a nytro rtx or xtx... leaning towards the rtx due to the better front suspension, but wouldnt mind a longer track. Guess it will come down to where i can get the best deal
