Looking at a 2014

I too was fooled by the price being Canadian. Just this week I bought a 14 ltx SE brand new with 5 years of warranty for $7800 all in. No freight or anything. Just can't go wrong with that price.

Any snow down in Texas?

Well both the 2014 and 15 both had issues like broken side panels,marred front bumpers and the 14 had a major dent on the aluminum skid plate,don't mind paying premium price but in return I want a premium sled,next one I may look at is a 2014 boosted viper with only 1800 miles,has all the clutch work and all done ,he wants 11 Canadian, so about 8500 in usd funds,is that too high?I have another option,which is a new 2016 for 12500 out the door,but then after clutching and exhaust work to make it perform a bit better there is another 1000,any one with some feedback is much appreciated

I would go boosted I have 2 and they are amazing. It does depend on whose turbo and which version mpi trail or stage 1 hurricane, push,.......Many out there but even trail turbo with clutching and install still 3 to 4 k value

Yes it is mpi trail turbo ,clutching is done and he also told me he was running 4-5lbs boost

Congrats! same way I got mine, payed less after tax/liscense for a low mileage demo than EVERYONE was asking for used ones with 4000+ miles. Honestly I don't blame them for asking higher prices as Yamaha tanked the used viper market with big rebates and dumping a lot of Show and Demo sleds on the market in the past month or so. Mine is one of those.
