What is so special about an "Exhaust dump into track, Hartman tunnel extension"? Has he taken a sled and made it longer and with the exhaust made it lighter?

I modified a 2005 Vector a year ago - the tunnel extension was likely done to replace the stock extension which had a "drop down" style. It hung down and did not follow the line (rake) of the running boards. It both looked dumb and caused drag in deep snow. The replacements are lighter, look better and perform better in deep snow.
The exhaust is definitely lighter - that is the likely reason for that modification. I saved 18 pounds going to a tunnel dump exhaust.
I didn't stop there - and my wallet feels it!
