looking to to purchase a nytro i am on a groomed trail 70% of the time but if i see a chance to hit some powder i go for it. looking for opinions on which one to get.

xtx if you want to go off trail a bit, or swap out the 121 ripsaw and put a cobra track. I am a bigger guy and prefer the rtx.

my vote is xtx.. your wont regret having the longer track on or off trail.

Check for bent subframes if you purchase used. Check to see if shock is centered between A arms and look at front of subframe to see if flat gusset is buckled. If so, its bent

i like the xtx but the rtx seams to be built heaver duty plus i would more than likely by new since i can get a new one almost cheaper than what some people what for a used one..... whats the top speed about?

rtx and xtx front ends are exactly the same. the higher top speed from the xtx is due to a better aproach angle of the suspension and track. if you do any off trail riding and wanting to buy new, get a xtx with the backcountry track, they are the ticket.

i get 157 kph with a 1.75 track

my xtx with back country hit 103 on the speedo there not much of a lake racing sled but are fun with a few mods.
