Looking for a no BS evaluation of '05 RX-1

I have 1400 miles on my turbo and we have 1500 on the wifes stock. Both have simmons skis and are fantastic. I couldn't dream of anything better.

I've put only about 100 miles on my 05 - (144 studs & 13mm sway bar from pioneer) but so far great improvement on suspension compared to my previous 03. I'm too old and heavy to ditch bang, but putting 200+ per day on the right trails should be a joy!

Im one of the guys that said it felt tippy going in to corners fast. Last week when I was driving it around to put it on my trailer, if I slid forward on the seat it cornered a lot better. I could not tell how smooth it rides yet. We are going up to ride on the 26th to the 29th, then I will see how smooth it rides. It has a lot of power, and it feels light. Love that motor. The new rear skid has great weight transfer too. ..

Took my first spin on my 05 RX1ER tonight. This is the first Yamy I have had in years that I have not wanted to go out and spend $$$$$ to fix ride and handling. It is not perfect, but it's new and I have not started adjusting. I suspect I will work on making the front end handle flatter. I may even reduce weight transfer so that the skis are on the ground as I tromp on it through the twisties. This thing is great!!

No comparison to my 03. The ride is among the best. I noticed that as I rode hard through the twisties, I rode forward on the seat just like I did with my REV. But... No shin damage with the RX1. this is what I expected in 03!!
