looking for a part?

I've looked around for a used one cant turn one up.Looking for the alluminum peice that rivets to the tunnel that holds the snow flap.Mine is ripping.Anybody have any suggestions for used parts besides EBAY

Just rivet on a doubler.

Drill a small hole at each end of a crack. This will help to stop the cracking because the round hole will spread the forces. I should have called it a doubler plate. Just a piece of sheet metal riveted on to carry the load around the cracking area. Google doubler plate for pictures.

Go online to xtremepowersports.com and they have it avail and thier prices are AWESOME, a new flap here is over $100 bucks, there it's $30 and the shipping is reasonable to. There are a OEM yamaha parts supplier and all parts are YAMAHA.

check a newer version of your sled on Ports fiche. the bracket is the same but the price has come down.
