looking for best price on new 09 xtx or rtx

As per the title, which dealer in USA has the best cash price on a new 09 left over xtx or rtx. Please post links if possible.

My friend is looking to buy a sled, we are located in Canada.

I bought my 09 last year at a Canadian dealer but after learning about Yamaha Canada warranty and treatment of Canadians first hand from experience it makes no sense to buy from Canada.

Sleds are easy to import and Canadians will save 5k vs buying in Canada.

Either way anyone with any leads please reply.

I have seen the prices in canada come down in the last month. Dont think your going to save 5G, still cheaper down south though. Might want to retry your local dealers just to see.

The best going price in Canada is 12k plus 13% sales tax plus comes out close to 14k.
7500 USA comes out to 9k Canadian landed.

I hear you pretty shocking if you are a Canadian but it is easy for anyone in Canada to import and save huge.

Last season I figured I would pay more in Canada to get the better warranty but honestly it makes no difference since Yamaha Canada will never warranty anything for anyone. If you do a search you can see many Canadians have got the shaft from Yamaha Canada.

IMPO it is silly for any Canadian to buy and pay the huge difference in price since you really don't get anything out of it.

Again humphreywatt 4k to 5k can be saved pretty easy buying from USA.

The truth hurts eh? Don't worry I paid the extra 4k last year also to Yamaha Canada. Not this time

Yamaha Canada goofed big time! Somethings gotta change, Just in Yamaha dealer here today, pretty much the salesman wasnt pleased with the prices they have to sell these at. The US price converted + border fees + shipping(either go pick or ship), your still saving a bundle.
He even stated "the US distrubutors are offering $1600 in incentives as to Yamaha Canada offering only $400. " straight from Yamaha salesman.
Honestly there is no reason to buy a Yamaha sled in Canada unless money isn't an issue to you. Everyone always says, "well what about warranty?".... isn't the reason your buying a Yamaha is to get away from unrealible 2 strokes? There is ways around the warranty issue(know someone in states?). Support your local dealer??? well go ahead, bend over!!!

I bought my 2010 from the states, I saved money on it as well. I never bought the year old model so my savings were not as much, but I still saved. Best price I could get here at the time was $12800 plus 10% tax. Paid $9900 us. Still have to pay 10% tax.

Agreed on all points, best way to describe things for us Canadian Yamaha shoppers. If you look at other brands of sleds none of them have the same pricing issues like the Yamaha USA/Canada. The pricing seems more inline with other brands. Example compare new Ski Doo pricing in USA to Canada, not so much a difference.

I understand and respect we are in Canada not USA, and our pricing will always be higher, but 35% more seems like someone is getting a little carried away. When you factor in exchange rate and the fact it cost more to run business in Canada you are talking 10% to 13% difference at best, who or what is gobbling up the other 22%?

Canadians pay tons more and get way less protection when it comes to warranty service. Very odd.

Sol, there's no way you'll land one for 9k, I know first hand I just brought mine from the states. The best you'll save is 3k but still well worth it! Oh and it was a 09 xtx.
