i hear half n half the stock clutching is well liked with a little bit of tweaking, and the other half will say its crap.
my question is i have a 2004 rx1 mountain(completly stock) and its mainly going to be flatlanded , i find its reving kind of high and was wondering without heavily altering the machine much is there something i can do with the clutching to bring the revs down a little bit?
i talked to a yamaha dealer near me and they said that the clutching needs to be changed, not being specific he just said its a 800 dollar fix after everythings done to basically make it more suited for flat landing but this seems a little outrageous so i thought i would ask on here.
thnx

It is outrageous set your clutch up to an 05 warrior stock clutch. All you need is the weights and the spring when I get home I can look at mine. I have the exact same machine and use it for flatland too. Turk set mine up and that is basicaly what mine is.
