I hit something on a rail bed this weekend and rip the front end off my sled. I am looking for any suggestions for a good replacement.

I would rather put and aftermarket front end on. I am not looking to make it wider. Lighter is the only thing I am looking at.

Check out Barkbuster front end from TimberSled Products!

Do you have the bark buster front end on your sled? If so how do you like it?

I have looked at that one. I t is very different looking that the stock. I like the specs on it, but would like some rel world feed back on it.

What didn't you like???

It made the front end of my rx very twitchy and unpredictable on hard packed or crusty snow when used with an aggressive deep keel ski like the stock or powder pro ski. Tried to pitch me over the bars alot! I adjusted the frond end according to the instructions and checked after every ride.
Not bashing the barkbuster, just didnt work with my setup.
People running dual keel ski like simmons or other multi-keel skies may love this front end?
I would like to see them in a universal color like black or silver.
