Ok I figured that i would post this over here since skis are mentioned first in the heading. I'm looking to replace my stock skis with aftermarket and I need some feedback please. Pilots, Slydogs, USI.....?? Money is a factor and I will be keeping my 8' Triple points . Do the mounting kits come with these skis or do I use the stock ski setup? Thanks in advance, Doug

I'm running the Slygogs I bought from Ulmer Racing. I think they are great. A couple of my buddies are running Pilots and they think they are great as well. Slydogs do come with proper size bushings. You re-use your own rubber bumper and bolts.

You can get the Pilots as a kit for $240 U.S. (I think) which includes the carbides and mounts. I don't think reusing your 8' (feet? OMG!) triple points is an option with these skis though, due to their short runner length.
As far as other brands like C&A, Slydog, and USI go, you'd probably have to drill extra holes in your new skis, and that's even if the runners fit.
Start with some of the Vendor's sites you'll find here, and see what prices they can offer. Generally, the newer/wider/popular/more aggressive the ski is, the more pricey it usually is.

I'll let you know this weekend. I'll be riding with my buddy who has the pilots. I'll try his sled also.
