I thought I saved it but I guess not. I am looking for a post by Rockerdan which pretty much showed how to break down an apex. I'm thinking the post was maybe 2009. It had a great picture break down. I am looking to remove the seat, gas tank etc...

Is this thread you need about how to break down the motor or tear down the sled???

Tear down the sled. This will be my first time doing oil change but I also want to change the steering column bushings. The post I have has the seat and gas tank removed.

Hey,
Thanks for the info. First time jitters. The first post you gave me has enough verbal instruction as well as pictures showing the reinstallation of the gas tank which I should be able to reverse. Nothing like a good picture book!!!! What I need is an "Apex book for Dummies" although, this site is most helpful.

Nice lift. I bought a similar one a few years back, nothing fancy, just a lift. I think you'll find working on your sled is much easier/more convenient now. Nice pick up.

X2 on the lift- makes working on sleds actually enjoyable. Should be the first mod anyone does "to" a sled.
