Looking for More Top End

There is a thread on here and a guy did testing with an 07 RTX where he changed gearing and did radar runs on the same day with the same conditions and on a 07 RTX the 22T gear was the fastest for top end.

Not sure how a 22tooth gear is faster then a 24 tooth gear for top end? You mention radar run, where a 22 T gear would win. I am looking at top end lake running speed. So far it seems that changing to a 24 tooth gear and a studded 1" CamoPlast track will get me where I want to be. After that, maybe clutching.
