well my bank account is a lot lighter but i pick up my non current 2011 apex xtx on monday. kirkswim is buying my war and yes i gave him a good deal on it.

i am going to assume that front a-arms close to parallel to the ground would be a good place to start.

was planning to suck up front limiters 1/2" and tension shock accordingly.

any other tips/tricks? last time i rode one was the 2011 demo ride and i found it set not too bad but i detest replacing slider plastic when there is riding to be done.

The dealer I bought mine from said not to lower the front on the XTX. I left mine alone and it seems to ride and handle fine. No groomed trails yet to push it in the corners to see how bad the ski lift is but the little I have tried produced no bad ski lift at all.

The 11 XTX comes with an 11.75mm sway bar so upgade to a 12mm would make little differance. 13mm maybe but there seems to be less body roll then my Rx Warrior with a 12mm and lowered front end.

I bought dupont sliders because 500 mile slidder wear is not for me. I can tell you that even with good snow conditions the slider smell is there with the stockers at very reasonable trail speeds. Higher speeds you can feel the sled slowing down. I'm going to stay with the smaller wheels and the duponts. Was told that Yami did a test with a 2012 XTX with one stock and one dupont slider and the stock was done at 1200 miles but the dupont was still like new.

Only 190 miles so far so thats all I have for now. If you lower the front let us know how it works out!
