Greetings,
I was seeking some advice on what kind of studs to buy and also what length for my 2005 RX1.
I am looking for good traction on hard ice and snow.
I am not sure what length I need for that track, but was told I want the tall bolts no matter which length I buy.
Thanks for your help,
Matt

i'm running 1.325 woody's trail studs(be careful as different manufactures measure differently). i found they give good traction in icy corners and such, but don't give the greatest holeshot on glare ice if you're trying to race.

Mack Studs are far superior to Woody's for durability. They may be a bit heavier, but they do not bend at all. They are not a big name player, but really are better. They come with a 5 year no bend or break warranty. You won't see that from Woody's. I agree that 1.325 is the right length.

I'm with QCrider on the studs.

Have an 04 Warrior with 1.25 ripsaw track, and now 180 studs.
Used 1.44 on the inside and 1.44 and 1.325 on the very outside, always with double backers.
