Hi all I'm new to the Yamaha snowmobile world. Just picked up a 00 Yamaha vmax SX. I'm pretty happy with it definitely held its own today. Anyways I'm looking to get my wife on to something she likes too. She currently has a Jag 440. Looking to either get something bigger for myself or another of the same for her. Which sleds do you prefer? I have seen a couple of the SX Bikers for sale and I like those. I did find an older red vmax sx for $500 so I'm thinking about that I think it's a 96-7.
You should try this over on the 2 stroke side. Most of us started our love affair with yanaha 2 strokes but this side is dedicated to big iron 4 strokes apex viper winder rx-1

Red 97Vmax SX 700 . One of the nicest sounding engines there is. My ear miss my old 97 but my back does not.
My 98 sx 700 was the first sled I ever took to da yooper 19 yrs ago my girlfriend of the day and I rode 300 miles in one day because we did not know any better. I just got home tonight from a 3 day trip and drag racing the turbo viper but everyday we talked about what we used to do on 4 " of suspension....and a little bit of ice holeRed 97Vmax SX 700 . On that note when I moved on I gave the 700 to neighbor last week a guy called me and had bought it from that guy but 8 yrs ago he never titled it so could not give him title. I was so happy it was going back on snow I paid for his 3 yrs of stickers and drove an hour to deliver it to him
