Everything in chaincase looks good, shafts r tight, no wobble . But when I start it up, start Erving it up the belt is slipping, winds up enough that motor cuts out, like a rev limiter. Belt is pretty worn, I got a new belt, put it on, and it's very loose. I take the slack out of the belt pushing on it, and it is a half to 3/4 of an in, off the primary shaft, I can't find any rhyme or reason why it's so loose! I'm using same factory replacement belt, and tried 2 different old belts, there all that loose. Obviously I'm missing something , just don't no what!!! Both shives spin as they should , track turns smooth. Spring seem fine. I'm googling different problems , coming up empty ?????

First i would remove secondary clutch and check spring in clutch, and jackshaft bearing. I don't know what sled this or how many miles you have on it. Second if every thing is good with spring and bearing i would check center to center distance between primary and jack shaft. I would also check the spring in the primary, depending on how old and mileage the springs could be an issue either took a set or broken. And one last thing would be motor mounts.
