My 04 Warrior seems louder than it should be. I'm also getting at rattle from under the seat. Sound like muffler donuts?
What all do I need to replace? Is it just the donuts or is it the gasket on the head also?
How much of a PITA is it to fix? Tempting just to ride it until summer but it is loud.

Not hard to do if its the donuts. Hardest part is lining up the pipe when putting it back on. May need two guys one to line it up and the other to gently push the assembly onto the head pipes.

The rattle is more than likely the exhaust heat shields. If it is and you pull the skid to remove them I recommend removing all of them as its only a matter of time before another comes loose.

If it is a heat shield, I would think about keeping it on there. Maybe re-doing the rivets (if thats how it's held on) Heat shields are there for a reason and who knows what would get hot without it...

everyone from 03 up has had this rattle problem. Most just pulled them little( Aluminum shields) off, or just let the sled pull it off by itself. Mine have been gone for years with no trouble. Good Luck. Honk
