So if low comp pistons are installed on apex motor with no headshim with a .30 gasket instead of the Yamaha .18 gasket you shouldn't have to move timing? I thought we only had to adjust timing if we put a headshim in. This is for another member on here. He's having to pull lots of fuel to get it running.

No it's not needed. The new all steel gasket are 0.027" thick.
I use to set the C0 to -10 across, on MCX turboed Apex sleds that is.
Is it rich from idle to wot?

Thanks for the reply back. He put them back to stock. Went for a ride and throttle stuck and now he's parting it out in classifieds.
