- 15 SR Viper MTX Hurricane 300hp kit
Fx Nytro Drag Sled 25psi + Boss Nos
Just picked up a Fx Nytro mtx and looking for some input on cold starting. My SC apex was extremely hard to start on cold mornings with je 10:1 pistons and i was running pump gas. Im looking at a mcx kit for my nytro how hard are those things to start in the cold? im talkin like even just -20*c my apex didnt wanna start. i might just go with a mcx 180 kit for now and stick with the stock comp then upgrade later not sure what to do.

I have never had any starting problems with my 180 kit.
Even in -30 celcius is starts pretty easy.

Dimebag how do you like your 180kit? are you satisified with the power? its no doubt a big difference over stock but im still not sure ill call it enough, but i think thats what im gonna go with i can always upgrade it to the 240 but the only thing im afraid of is the cold starting with the lower compression on the 240kit my apex left me stranded more then once.

I love it. Great throttle response and no turbo lag.
I have'nt even considered upgrading to a bigger kit.
Actually, most people believe its a bigger kit cause it works so well.
I would not say that there is too big of a big difference in overall performance between the 180/240 kit. Its so quick, and so responsive!
It rocks
