I have physically pumped more fuel in than that. If you burp the tank you can get damn close to 38 litres. Tank is the same as the viper. From website:

Probably easier to call it an 8.9tank then to call it a 10.0 & explain the burp.

Was getting around 15 MPG today on twisty trails running about 60 corner to corner and 45 through the turns. Not running the Piss out of it but not being easy either. Probably be better if I get the secondary roller issue sorted out tomorrow. It runs high RPMs at low speed with the rollers flat spotted.

I figured the MPG would start coming up under normal firm trail riding and the more these break in too. Nice to hear for up north trips between fuel stops. Was getting around 15 MPG today on twisty trails running about 60 corner to corner and 45 through the turns. First trip out on my sled today , lucky enough to pick it up At tthe dealer, drive half an hour to the groomed trail.
I got 39 miles on and burnt 11 liters of fuel. Trails where hard and flat. To me this is excellent mileage for this beast. My maths telling me I should Ben around 120 miles on tank with these conditions.

In the winter, aren't litres actually smaller? The gas shrinks and the pump is set for a litre at 15 degrees celsius. So won't a 33 litre tank hold more with litres read at the pump? My 25 litre gas containers take more fuel in the winter according to the pump.

I'm showing 13-15 consistently. My dad's Viper on the same trails is using about a gallon less over a 120 mile day. Not bad at all.First trip out on my sled today , lucky enough to pick it up At tthe dealer, drive half an hour to the groomed trail.

Just looked it up....modern pumps are temperature compensated, so you are right,,,a litre is a litre in a temp compensated pump.Ummm no. Never seen this conspiracy. 25 liters is 25 litres
First tank 10mpg, second tank 12mpg, 3rd tank 13mpg.

150 more miles today, total now 300. RTX SE, TD EcoTrail package, fresh lake effect snow on ice base, running pretty hard, 11.5 mpg.

Exactly. They are compensated. So it's the same all the time.
