I have an 06 Apex GT that just started to idle low 1000-1100 rpm and does not respond when the idle screw is turned up. I first noticed it after a couple of long runs on the ice. After I shut it off it stumbled/stalled on start up, turned the key again and idled at 1000 rpm and ran/has run great since. It's stored in a heated garage and I treated the gas twice this winter with iso.. Any thoughts on what I should look for?

I had similar issue the other day, hard start, low idle, stall. I turned up the idle screw, still seemed to struggle(smeeled rich) so i leaned out the fuel a little bit on the pod,and then seemed to run good after.

berge, how much did you change it, and how. I remember seeing a post last year on how to change it, but if you can let me know what you did, that would be great.

My '06 always seems to idle low and rough for a minute or so when it's -15 or colder, and it seems like it's going to stall out. My buddies '06 doesn't seem to do that. My adjusting mine as you did yours will help?

Does the adjustment you made only change idle?

Here's an explanation from Ullmers site how to changge the fuel. I would have the throttle bodies synchronized first. I just did mine a little while before i started having issues. I went down to -5 and doesn't run so rich, and brought back up the idle speed.

Stealth MOD Air Box

The Yamaha Genesis 150FI motor is the first fuel injected Yamaha snowmobile. With this technology is very little adjustability for air box modifications, etc. If you experience a hesitation in the low end RPM range with the MOD air box installed these are the steps you will want to take to richen the low speed fuel curve. Always make sure the snowmobile is fully warmed up before adjusting any settings. A cold engine will also result in a hesitation!

This will change your low speed fuel mixture much like the pilot circuit on a carbureted model. It does not effect on high speed fuel mixture. The engine will start and run normally in C0 mode so you can change settings with the engine running or on the trail. To return to the normal gauge functions simply turn the key or kill switch off and the gauge display will return normal functions.

Apex C0 Fuel Adjust:
- Install a wire (or paperclip) from ground to the pale green wire in the connector on the left of the delta box. This wire has no mating wire in the male connector and only needs to be grounded to the Delta Box.

Enter Diagnostic mode:
- With the key and kill switch off, press and hold both "Select and Reset" buttons then power up the gauge by turning both the key and kill switch on.
- Wait 8 seconds and the gauge will go blank except for "DI" in the display.
- Press "Select" to toggle between "DI" and "C0", Select "C0".
- Press and hold both "Select and Reset" 3 seconds
- Gauge will display "C:01", (this is where you select which cylinder you want to adjust)
- Press and hold "Select and Reset" 3 seconds and 0 should appear in the odometer section
- Press "Select" to increase the number (richer), "Reset" to decrease the number (leaner)
- Example: (10 would be richer) (-10 would be leaner)
- Press both "Select and reset" to chose C:02 and adjust the same as above (must do this for each cylinder)

You will want to go RICHER (positive numbers). Generally up 10 will be enough to get past any hesitation or stumble you may run into.

Cool, thanks!
I knew I read it somewhere...it was on Allen's site when I was looking at his different kits.

I'll give it a try, Thanks!

berge, thanks for the info! I tried changing all to -5 last night, left it outside for the night and it was -25C this morning. It fired up and went to high idle pretty much right away. The best it's started in a long time! It's only one time, so if it's gets down to the -20s again this week, I'll leave it outside again to see what happens.

Thanks again!

Oh, by the way, if anyone tries to adjust these settings and can't toggle between dI and C0, your connection probably isn't making contact. I didn't have my wire in the harness far enough and I could still get the d1 to appear on the guage, but the buttons wouldn't do anything. It seems you can get the d1 to appear without grounding anything out.
