Just drove mine today. Did approximately 100 miles. I've previously owned a 12 F1100T with 230hp tune' 14 Etec 800 TNT, 15 Axys Switchback 800, 16 Enduro 800 Etec. Everything you've read about the insane power is true. My brother has a 17 800 Switchback Assault and the Sidewinder will literally run away from it. We raced multiple times and even if he got the hole shot I'd go right by. We both agreed it's the fastest sled we've ever ridden. Clutching was great and there's no turbo lag. Guys might be bragging that they can run with this sled on short races but 1000'+ it's gonna beat everything . I'm glad I got one because once the word gets out they will be hard to find.

Better. Three cylinder sounds better and it has a different feel. It accelerates well but has a huge top end charge like I've never felt. I love it.

That's good to hear. I'm looking forward to the smoothness of the 3 cyl compared to the twin!

I also was on 230hp cat and can honestly say at stock level FEELS as fast but thats just the old butt dyno. What was great is that the belt didnt blow on multiple wide open runs!!!! Belt temps warm but not hot! Throttle response like an Apex but power and speed like the Cat Turbo! So how did it comepare to your 230 hp cat? That's what I was riding the last 3 seasons. Thanks for the report!

You guys are making it really tough to wait for the 50th anniversary model lol. Here in southern Ontario the snow is starting, expecting quite a bit next few days and these reports are killing me. Enjoy your new toys and hope they turn out awesome. Could some please let me know if they are tippy like I found my viper was a bit.

Any thoughts on SE shock package? Was it a nice "plush" ride? Have same sled. Thanks for the reportJust drove mine today. Did approximately 100 miles. Yes very happy. I thought the front rode as good as anything out there. The rear rode well, not quite as good as the R motion but close. The motor is the smoothest Ive ever felt . You don't realize until I rode the 800 Assault
The 800 twins make my hands fall asleep (my last 3 sleds ) I did not have this problem with the SW.

Great report, especially with your past sleds. Gives us good insight.
Any thoughts on fuel consumption?
Thank-you so much, joe
