2015 SR Viper LTX SE
Guys who have LTX SE Sidewinders how do you find the shocks? More specifically the fronts, I'm looking to order a 2018 LTX SE and wanted some feedback. I'm coming off a Viper LTX SE so I already have a good idea on how the rear is going to ride.

My issue with the SE was the front track shock spring. IMO it was to soft on sit in.. Then you cranked it up and it was to stiff and lost some travel on the shock. I went with a different spring on that shock and all my issues were resolved.. At least how I like to ride and set my machines.. I will and can help you out with a base line set up if you like..I managed 2300 miles on my 17 winder and really liked it AFTER playing with setting and changing out stock spring on the forward track shock.. ALSO went with Cat skis and 6 inch slim jims and I know most guys laugh but I'm telling you its decent and actually if you don't ride super hard into the corners its damn good with my settings. I also have 192 nails 1.325 length & outside the windows also... PM me if you want more specific info if and when your ready to set her up.. Jon

Sweet thanks man, I'll try to remember this once I start riding it. How did you find the front fox shocks?

Not to bad. I played with them a bunch.. I feel they were to stiff from the dealer.. The whole sled will ride ALOT different after 500-600 miles.. I actually hated mine until spring change and 600 miles... The shocks and everything loosens up.. So you can loosen everything up a bit new BUT remember things will loosen quit a bit.. And then I had to go the other way > tighten up.. If you struggle with it PM me
