Guys,
looking at the specs for the X-TX LE and the LTX LE, the only difference I can see is that the X-TX LE has a 1.75 track and a grab bar. All other specs are identical. Why then is the LTX LE $800 more Canadian?? Can anyone shed some light on this?

The LTX has seemed to become their flagship sled. It has the premium qs3's on them. The shock package alone would make the sled worth more.

I'm guessing your comparing the LTX to the XTX 137. The XTX does have the qs3's but they are last year's style. The LTX comes with the "kashima coating" and the LTX has them on the front and back. The XTX has last year qs3's on front and one standard, one qs3 on back. Not sure what the kashima coating is but was told it's a sweet shock package. Best Yamaha has ever offered. Something to do with making the shock move smoother?

Also the LTX new shocks have rebound adjust where last year's only had compression.

The rear is different. The XTX has an HPG too. I was originally considering this model, but I was planning on studs and noticed the difference in shock packages as well. So, I am leaning towards the LTX-LE.

Yes, I finally see the differences in the shock packages.

Pretty sure I want an XTX 137 with a 1.6 Ice Cobra track. Pretty sure my dealer will try to talk me into the LTX tho. Thoughts? Not too worried about the extra clickers, rarely mess with them on my current sled because we only get enough time to ride and not ride, test, adjust ride.

There so little difference it hardly makes sense to make both models. I don't think the shocks are worth the extra price to me.

The difference in the price of the shock packages are well over $1000. Then you also get the reinforced racing skid. Is the upgrade necessary for most people? No, but it's a good deal for what you are getting. There so little difference it hardly makes sense to make both models. I don't think the shocks are worth the extra price to me.

I see. Sorry I misinterpreted your previous post. When I read the specs it sounded like the same skid. The LTX LE is a beefier skid (The Race Ready). Where in PA do you buy your sleds?

View attachment 117640 In the LE flyer it shows the X-TX 137 LE has a narrower front end.

According the the Yam site the 141 has 40-42" adjustable ski stance with the new Cat mountain "bone" spindles but the XTX 137 has 42-43" ski stance.
