I am looking for ideas for luggage, fuel, storage options on my 07 Attack. Whats your setup? Do you have pics?
I live in rural Alaska and usually ride long distance (180+ miles one way) for weekend camping and riding trips and take fuel, food, supplies, sleeping bag, extra gear, etc. Sometimes (usually dont prefer to) tow a sled. Usually everything is carried on the snowmachine and in backpacks. I utilize a lot of the Yamaha factory accessories, front pouch under the hood, windshield bag, handlebar bag, and tank bag.
I also used angle aluminum to fab a rack for my mini action packer on the tunnel extension, and copper tube and fittings for five gallon fuel racks (one on each side of the tunnel). My sleeping bag straps to the top of the action packer and rear of the seat behind where I sit. All this plus my backpack usually carries everything I need. However, I bought another Attack this year and might want to try something different.
What do you long haul, cross country riders use?
