remove 1/4 from the tips on the lathe when you true the drivers, you did true the drivers, I have never found a set to be round I did the sheet rock knife trick on my first set. Dont worry about cutting the tips. The track is never that high on the drivers.
No, I've never heard of truing the drivers, but that makes sense. Are you saying to just machine off 1/4" of the driver teeth in a lathe so my front swing arm will clear?

After reviewing older posts' and taking another look at my skid, I realized Fast already had my driver clearance issue resolved. The instructions say to move the mounting location for the front arm back 1". I then noticed that the front arm mounts to the rail 1" further back than it normally would.
Does anyone else have their front arm moved back like this?

I just checked mine and it also has the ability to mount the front arm back 1". I wish I knew that before I cut my drivers. Oh well......

I assume you drilled the existing pilot hole above the footwell out to 7/16" to mount your front arm?
Correct, be sure to use a steel plate mounted to the tunnel behind the mounting holenorthernsledder.jk said:yamahatd said:I just checked mine and it also has the ability to mount the front arm back 1". I wish I knew that before I cut my drivers. Oh well......
