We have been in discussion with FAST, Inc. about their 2004 model
M-10 suspension for another review of the product line and what changes
there may be. Interestingly, changes are few, though we found out that this year FAST is only producing about 1/2 the volume that they normally produce. Sales are stronger than ever though due to some changes in the business they missed some critical lead times and therefore will not have enough timely product. What does this mean- there are fewer M-10's available this year than any other and with the snow coming you should act now while there are some M-10's still available. We strongly beleive the M-10 remains unchallanged and is the best investment yet for comfort and control over your Yamaha Skid. Mention our name Totallyamaha.com Thanks.

Tom, My Nephew bought a M-10 for his RX-1 this year. It was delivered in a timely manner But, the big problem is the mounting kit. He has waited two months and is starting to get burned up! He called the company and they claim that all the mount kits were sent out. That was two weeks ago today.Wonder how long should it take? They may have a good product, but I would not deal with this garbage! They make all kinds of claims ,but don't deliver. Although they got the MONEY!! Ain't that typical. Honk

Mr Sled, I called my nephew to find out the whole story and to give him the info you said. He called them, and they said they did send all the units out. The only thing they could figure is when buying from a dealer(snomo) is that maybe they held back their order untill they had enough to get free shipping. So maybe it didn't get put in on time. Also the dealer bought it through parts unlimited, so you have another destination too. Anyway he is going to the dealer tommorrow to get his money back. The m-10 company claims they can have a skid and mount kit at his garage in three days. Although when buying direct it cost way more, than when buying through parts unlimited. $1120.00 verses 680.00 and that is with the middle shocks. Fox adjustables I think. He may cool his jets when he thinks about that huge difference. The season opens here on the 10th but, we don't have any snow anyway. Thanks for your input. Honk

Thats good to here that it was not Fast Inc, it was the middle man and Parts Unlimited that most likley screwed up and I am sure they blamed fast to get the monkey of their back....Worst case the mount kit is only 200 bucks have fast send you one and back charge your supplier

Prices?
Honk those prices don't seem right to me. The cheapest retail with Fox shocks is 1349 +200 for the mount kit. Dearler mark up is about 300. so where do you get 680??

Buckeye, The prices seem to be all over, depending on who you buy it from.He claimed buying it from fast it was way more. Probally could have gotten it though. Fast said three days at his garage.

One difference if you look closely is Fast prices all their skids with mounting kit included.
Allmost all the distributers price their skids separately from the mounting kit. :!:
