well finally got and installed a M20 in my 2007 Apex ER,install went pretty good, suspention moves freely to about half way, then it gets harder ,from half to full down it seems to stick or feels like it goes over centre, running 35 psi in front and 65 psi in back.Went for a few test drives, it does ride better than stock, but not much transfer,no ski lift or little, limiter set to max,i kinda miss ski lift, but the ride is good, track must be very tight not to rachet, miss the lose track on my mono, any help or thoughts?

that's why it's feels better, there's no more weight transfer,
a lot of people run the mono with transfer to max, including me in the past, to get ski lift but complain that the suspension sucks,
since i have put the mega float on with the transfer closer to min the ride is unbelievable, i look for bumps and rip it and it handles it perfect, now if i were to put the transfer to max and do that i will be hospitalized with a broken something,
so if you want that nice ride your going to have to give up something (ski lift),
I.M.O. you should of put the mega on, cheaper and probably rides better..

You pretty much hit it on the head!!
pull strap up and inch track should have 3/4 to 1/2 inch hanging from the middle hyfax.i run 40 psi in the front 62 to 65 in the rear.185 with out gear.

Just rode the 2012 apex se w/ fox floats on all three corners, and was not impressed, trails were bumped out by the time i got to ride it,and this was what i was looking for, rough trails to test this huge float,it either had to much air,or not enough, but it felt to me like it had to much air,as it would bounch you almost off the sled on the big mounds of snow pills left froma hard start, where someone started to rip it up off the line, and you come over a birm and ride over that bump,it still mule kicked ya,did not seem plush at all,the standard spring coil over apex felt the best, any ideas, cause i want to try another apex w/this mega float set up right,i weigh 230 dressed.Fabio said:pex190

When you say you are encountering resistance when you compress the suspension you are probably either contacting the front shock bumpstop or feeling resistance from the track. Maybe a combo of both. Fast suspensions will tighten the track as they travel. So conversely, they also loosen the track as they extend out of the tunnel. This is why tightening the limiter some can control ratcheting. If you are at 1/2" of sag and still ratchet, I would first double and triple check your measuremenst for the front torque-arm mount holes. If those are good I would try tightening the limiter a half-step. By half-step I mean go from the bottom holes on both sides of the strap to the bottom hole on the short side and the second to bottom hole on the long side. Fast calls this going from 4/3 to 3/3 if I remember right. Hope this helps.....
