use the K&N kit Ulmer sells. i like that magnaflow but its a bit big in my opinion so i think im going down in size next year since mine is just a v band connection to the header. From the decibel app on my phone its over the legal limit but most cans/mufflres added on sleds are. In my opinion its nice but it prob is on the loud side. its louder than the super Q muffler i had on it before but that muffler is chambered. the magnaflow is straight through

not sure how you made out with the ice build up but I did this mod about 3yrs ago on my vector ltx and my snow build up was next to nothing compared to before. My muffler was back toward the snow flap much farther as I did not cut the factory header. I just had a short turn down on the exhaust side that pointed the air right out under the flap but above the track. no issues at all since the install. sound is perfect.
