Anyone heading to Maine this weekend? Thinking of heading to the Rangeley area to do some riding and testing/racing. Hopefully more racing. If anyone is going anywhere in Maine let me know. At this point there are 3 of this going. I would like to run with some tuned in Apex's to test against my Super Torquer clutching.

Leaving real early Saturday morning for Northern Outdoors, was supposed to be a family trip but dumped that idea and the boys will be going! If we get this Blizzard their teasing us with look out! Ya pullin' it all with that nasty FORD??!! Now were talkin.

May be going to Rangeley for Thurs & Friday.

Hey Blue Oval, Where is Northern outdoors? Vice we are thinking about Rangeley arriving late on Friday and out on Sunday.

Just got back from Rangeley late Sunday. Big improvement from 2 weeks ago. They'll be in great shape if they get another few inches this week. enjoy

Charged, N O is in the Forks, right on RTE. 201 about 1/2 drive ( truck) south of Jackman. From what i hear most of interior ME. will be getting 12"-24" + :jump: Conditions up around that area suck right now.

According to the forecast they are going to get a good foot. Does anyone know of a lake anywhere up there that keeps a plowed strip?

The long run from Rangely to Oquossic on Rangely Lake is usually beaten down good and can be ridden fast.

Wouldn't recommend the run across the lake. The ice is choppy and watch out for the wind rows. FYI NO PRESSURE RIDGES YET!

That's too bad, that is a great run with a 4 stroke. Hopefully the snow storm fixes that problem. The ice ridges usually form just outside the cove where the Ski Doo dealership is and across Hunter's Cove.

they always have a strip plowed on eagle lake up close to ft kent in aroostook county, some guy has talked a lot of smack about his rtx up there,i went to the local radar run on madawaska lake on sat and didnt see him there, think he went to the hill climb in mars hill on sat night, according to the weather at 6pm we will get at least a foot if not 2 feet in the mountains so the trails will be better covered but probably wont be anywhere to run top speeds for a while ,we have a good little stretch of rrbed just outside of washburn and we run it all the time, ive seen a bunch of 130-131 runs on hard packed snow, never run flat out of lake anywhere, seen 135 on speedo on a 1400ft strip earlier this winter with sled studded and lowered, regular set up for trail i cant get past 131 this year, must be the 40th bottom gear

yeah I was really hoping I would have the chance to see what the apex would pull for me. oh well maybe next year

Anyone interested in going to Eustis on Monday and riding for a few days? I have use of a friends camp.

I am dying to do some racing this weekend. Does anyone know if the track where they did the radar runs in rangeley is plowed. How about any lakes in Jackman or the forks? A couple of us are going to be staying on back lake in Pittsburg Nh for the 1st weekend in March. This is the weekend of the snodeo. It would be great to get some guys together for that weekend and do a ton of racing and testing. Any takers?
