the best cleaner/ scratch remover to use on plastic windshield is scratch x, I tried them all . first you clean the windshield with a good clear plastic cleaner meguirs in the white bottle works fine, make sure to use a brand new microfibre cloth. then use the scratch remover and then finish off with the polish. comes in a kit orange and white package. makes your windshield look like new, no fine scratches , the cleaner can be difficult to remove, so use a hair dryer and apply light heat and it comes off like butter. you will be blown away with the results.

Thanks for the info RX1man, I am going to give it a try as I have too many small scratches on my 40th windy that I don't like.
The Pledge and the Plexus work not too bad at temporarily hiding them, but like most of these products, they only last so long.
