Anyone trim the outside lugs at a 30% angle for more side slip like Yamaha did with the Ripsaw II one the 2012 Nytros?

IMO best way to mod ripsaw is change it to another track. It is so slippery and a nightmare when braking if there is any loose snow.

lol why did you buy a motor that will last forever and trade it on the new model in ~3 years? I have about 4000 miles on mine, 3600km is only 2200 miles or so. Is the rest of the sled beat already? I would just get the turbo already, save the rest of the cash. imho. My sled still makes me smile every time i hit that flipper, even after 4000 miles of doing it.

oh, you´re talking about xtx, thats maybe another story!
Unfortunately, it is not...
As soon as you leave the hardpack, a short sled with 1.75" paddle track will humiliate a XTX with Ripsaw...
But it is all about your riding conditions.
Off trail - Ripsaw = big no no...
On trail - Ripsaw = quite a good track with great durability...
