Hey guys. I finally got out today for my first ride on my 06 RTX. Really happy with sled but want more handlebar height.
What is the max height riser block I can add without rerouting/changing cables? 2.5"/ 3 "?
Btw, I rode my pals '03 F7 and an '08 Doo 800 on very bumper/rough trails. I'm VERY happy I bought an Apex.
Now, I must say, that my rear shock was redone by Bruce at Pioneer, so I think that has alot to do with the amazing ride.
Unfortunately, I never rode it before the revalving, so I don't know how much of a difference it made. I just know it feels great now.
The F7 is fast because it is light. It's light because of its build quality (or lack of) IMHO. I have read lots of good things about the Doo 800, but after riding it today, I'll easily keep my Apex.
Also, I have "Snowtrackers" on my sled. Zero darting. Awesome. The Skidoo was darting uncontrollably when I rode it.

You can add a 2" riser to it. I use the PowerMaxx pivot riser.
riser
stock cables only 2" riser, but extend throttle cable and you can run 5" riser without extended brake hose, any higher and brake hose needs to be extended. I have 5" with throttle extension and it great for me being over 6'2"

Went with 2" rox pivot, rerouted thottle cable under bar and removed top "C" bracket.

Do not go any higher than a 2" pivot riser with stock cables and be careful then even as you might set TORS off without them being rerouted well.
Brake and parking brake should be easily rerouted for 4"-5"

For the sake of 20.00 for a mountain throttle cable, get it and then you have no worries about TORS issues.

I ordered the RX1 mountain throttle cable and its too long. Stick with the apex mtn cable

only pic i have of the riser, but it's 1.25" powermadd pivot with an 8 inch block about 4 inches taller than stock and required a apex mountain cable and a parking cable the brake hose just made it
