If you are running a Bender intercooler pull your 1/8 fpt to 1/4 hose barb fittings out of bottom of intercooler go to your hardware store and pick up
7/32 brass tubing and cut 2 pieces off at 1&1/2'' long and solder them into the brass fittings . Now when you reinstall them you can not get water in the fittings or fuel psi regulator.Now you ar not picking up air from the bottom of the intercooler any more.
If you like to run in powder block off,all the air passages you can to the filter from all sides. Now cut a hole over the top of the air filter thru the heat sheild and pick your air up from under the seat.
I cut a slot 1&1/4 x6'' long thru my heat sheild. Look at the witness marks
where the rubber bumpers hold the seat up off the heat sheild, Do not cut this away you as you must still hold the seat up. :idea:
