hi , I am having trouble with the banjo type fitting leaking oil out the bottom of my front mount MCX turbo. My dealer has tried numerous times with different copper washers apparently the correct washer. Still dripping onto the wrapped ceramic coated header thus causing a small fire each time. GOOD thing Ihappen to be a firefighter HA! HA!. I was wondering if some type of tig? weld would do the job. Need help thanks!! Oh just for laughs I spanked a new Mach Z He asked If I ever considered turboing my 03 RX1, my responses oh I bet thats expensive. The race was on smoked him out of the hole with the new 06 apex gt skid purchased hear from the Custom sled shop!! Let him catch up then pulled away past the 120mph mark!! Thanks!!

Could be the banjo hose joint that is causing you trouble. I assume you have changed the copper washers on both sides of the banjo joint. And if it is still leaking I suggest replacing the oil hose.

sorry never did get a fix. I had the kit removed and sold just not reliable enough for long trips. My local Yamaha dealer also a MCX dealer/installer was going to try to have it welded somehow if I kept.

There was a fix, but it has been 4 years and I don't remember for sure. I believe I replaced the fitting the banjo bolt went through and got the correct copper washers for each side of the fitting and had no further problems.
