- 08 nytro with mcx turbo
Hey guy hopefully someone here can help me solve this problem so I can sell the thing haha. So when you start the sled and let it sit, it starts off normally idling at 900rpm, but after a few seconds it will climb to 2k rpm. I thought it could be firing secondary injectors, so I pulled the little line on the mcx control box off and what do you know the idle drops back down to 1k. I thought okay, what the hell, so I plugged the little vacuum line with my thumb and instantly the idle spiked back up... So i don't think it is the controler, but I don't really know. The last time we ran it, it ran fine up until it ate a coolant line (i didn't burn it up. we shut down before all the fluid was gone). Could an intake leak be the cause of this? I replaced the track and might have loosened off a clamp or 2 for pipes going from turbo to motor. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated!
