As a mater of fact they wont insure any sled over 750ccs in 2006 :moon: I ended up with Progressive for 934 a year.,with a perfect driving record.

Auto Owners homeowners insurance insured mine. I cancelled my old sled and added new so approximately $170. However, she said call end of season and get refund on Collision because they will remove From policy for non riding time.

On my Third year after dropping progressive. (Better Pricing)

While looking around don't be surprised if you find that A few insurance companies like All State want you to have all your insurance through them to get Snowmobile insurance.

I would change that quick! Do a board search about insurance. There have been a couple of threads about it. You will find some good prices.

I insure my '05 Rage through Missouri Valley Mutual for $280 a year full coverage. I have my Explorer and renters insurance through them as well. I think they are licensed to do business in South Dakota only however.

Liberty Mutual - They understand the cc difference with four strokes! I'm paying $150 (comp and liability) with a $500 deductible and I don't have the best record...

A couple of years back I looked into insurance on an RX-1 and American Family quoted me at $270 a year for full coverage ($500 deductable).
In comparison, they wanted $240 a year for the same insurance on an SX Viper.
They go more on how much the sled costs instead of just cc.

Hey Shaf,

Give Mazzali a shout. We have our home, Auto's and the sled through them, not too bad.

I pay $140 a year for comp and liability on my '01 Poo 600 XC right now, so $270 a year full coverage for an RX-1 didnt seem bad AT ALL.
American Family has the best rates Ive ever found, at least in Wisconsin.
