Finally got green lit by the better half to buy a STX GT. Unfortunately it seems all in the country are sold. I have a lead on one if the deal falls through I’ll be next in line. Really bummed out because I could have put a deposit on it last week but was waiting for wifey to be more onboard with the decision!

there is one for sale in Rangeley Maine at REV IT UP SPORTS. I've got the STX-GT...its an awesome sled. Not sure about what it would take to get it shipped over but nothing is impossible. Give them a call and see what happens.My wife made the decision for me, she would not get back on the sled I had after laying that 2up on its side...luckily she got back on the STX-Gt and absolutely loves the sled as it is so stable. I definitely appreciate the information but I’m really not willing to pay 1,000 or so to ship a sled. Apparently the guy that bought the one near(ish) me is having it shipped to NY for a little over a grand. Maine is also a little outside weekend road trip to go pick it up. Weird they have one. Yamaha site nor any website on the internet picked it up.

So, they are closed until tomorrow but the reason I didn’t see them is because they have a 2020 apparently. Wifey liked the black more than red, though maybe now that we have no options I can talk her into red lol

i have found a few though dealers web site that where not posted on autotrader or kijiji. got my 05 rx war ltd by starting to phone every dealer in a spiral out from where i live. found it 2 hrs south of me. only ever bought one sled at local dealer as he had what i wanted at the time. on my 5th new sled in the last 20 years and i had to look for them all over the province.

There is a red 2up sidewinder on Craigslist in Syracuse, ny. Doesn’t show mileage but has 0.8hrs on it. Looks new. May want to check it out. Says 2019 but believe 2020. Same color as my 2020 sw Ltx gt

The ladies usually get to choose color lol.....I can tell you though the red is really striking..red on white snow looks incredible. Good luck !!

I checked out the craigslist ad..if my wife didn't want to go sledding I'd get a single 137 sidewinder too but in reality the 146 stx-gt you can take off the rear seat and rides real nice single. the 146 is built solid...I love this sled...I'd make sure the warranty is transferable and not sure why someone would register a sled and not use it, or at least that looks like its been registered buy the sticker on the side...it has been used in grass..check the track picture...no big deal. Nice sled, negotiate a bit down..if he's selling it and not trading it in then that means you may have a little wiggle room that might pay for shipping...these sleds take a good drop once off the showroom floor..a friend of mine got a STX-GT off season for 14k..according to him. I’ve been thoroughly shot down on the red. Been trying to comb through every Yamaha dealer I can find looking for a 2021 not on snowmobile trader or the Yamaha website.
