Nice looking. How much foam did you have added and what was the process to have it done. What kind of foam is it. did you have to have the seat cover modified. tell me how to do it basically.

It was probably the same type foam that is in the seat. The cover was not modified, because it fit loose stock. He added 1' to the top, and put a piece of padding under the original foam, where you sit, because he said it would keep me from bottoming out.

How much for time and materials? I don't know if I'd try it myself. Worse case, wreck it and buy an '05 seat.

1" of foam, and the seat didn't have to be modified. The cover fits loose stock, and it stretches.

Can you give the name and phone number of who did this? I would gladly ship my seat from NY. The BOSS seat through BBY would be even better but I really can't afford the $400 with an 05 on the way and keeping my 03. The addittion of the foam looks a lot "cushier" than the stock 04 seat does.

Just another idea. Yhe old guys put a 1/4 layer of "SORBOTHANE" on the inside rear of their suits and it worked fantastic. It is a product used to obsorb recoil from fire arms.

We all are going to add a layer under the seat cover on our 05's.
