ModRods vent kit

Anyone use the modrods xxx ventkit for their Apex?

My concern is ripping up the mesh against tree's and etc.. also letting water flow through causing waterslip on the belt wen crossing lakes etc.

Im running a modrods kit on my nytro.
I've managed to rip the lower vent while sidehilling and hitting a ice bump.

I've also done some tree riding, and I got no damage to the vents.
They are pretty durable
