Mono Skid install completed

Yea after i put the 136 skid in the front end really settled down, but im thinking about the 13mm bar and links if i do it. Might get some fox gas shocks for the front also.

I put a 06 mono in my 03 RX-1 last year, best money I have spent on the sled so far! mine was bottoming out easy last year so I sent the shock to pioneer performance and WOW! this thing rocks I have it on full soft and did not bottom once last weekend! Send your shock to Bruce and you will be very happy.

Hey we did the same thing on my buddies he is 180lbs and is bottoming out bad. The mono only had about 900 miles on it but he needs to firm it a bit. What did Pioneer charge for upgrade spring and valving?

I put the 13mm bar in mine this year from Pioneer. I also added Ohlins I can tell you I have more roll & lift than I did with the stok bar & original arms. The new bar has to use the longer arms because of the diamater of the ends. i only have about 250 miles on them and am still dialing the new stuff in.

I can't help but think the longer arms act as more powerfull levers causing the heavier bar to twist easier giving the 13 mm bar more like a 10 mm bar in roll resistance. I have had to dial the shock to firm to keep the front down negating the $600 I paid for the Ohlins to be able to soften the compression on the front end.
