After my purchase yesterday, I thought I had all my questions answered, until I did some digging around about the mono skid. Were there alot of issues with this skid? I was under the impression that it was as good as the M10 but as a bonus had great transfer.
I see people were complaing of bushings wearing out prematurely, cracked W arms and broken adjuster cables.
Being 6'3" 275lbs with my birthday suit on. Are these skids holding up to "heavy Hotties"LOL! Should I just get a tougher spring and have the shock revalved?
What do some of you "heavy" guys have for setups? Thanks in advance

I believe all of those issues have been resolved for 06.

Thanks, but I think I should have posted this in the suspension forum. Could a moderator please move it when you get a chance. Rooky mistake!

At 275 you will probably want the big-boy spring. I think Yamaha sells the heavier spring for $99. Rotax is correct - there have been many updates to the 06 mono. Welcome to TY - it's truly in a class by itself. Great information, REAL comradery, and pissing matches simply aren't tolerated.

I agree with both fella's. Skid has been updated but do get the big boy spring.

Thanks for the input. Do I have to have it revalved if I install the big boy spring?

No, you only add the spring.. not the revalve
