Mono "W" arm ?

Well in addition to recently finding both my slide rails cracked I also notice that my W arm is starting to crack at the top cross bar on the left side. I will be purchasing a new "W" arm from Yamaha, but before I do that I wanted to know if the latest and greatest "W" arms end up cracking too?

I replaced mine with the latest version ( 09 ) and have ridden 5000 miles . I have kept an eye on it and it seems to have stayed glued together,

I had my skid apart Thursday night and my also had cracks on the front cross member. I ground down the paint and ground a groove in the bar and welded it up. Probably stronger now. I also ground down some of the other welds that commonly break and rewelded them double over. Hopefully this helps for the time being. Planning on sending it to half-baked sometime this summer. I would recommend sending your old arm to half-baked also because from what I have read and seen for pictures it might even be better then buying an 09 w-arm.
