Broke my w arm for the second time. The first was cracked the second it came out in three peices.I aslo am having a problem with the nut on the upper bushings. Dont know what happens first the loosing the nuts and washers then the crack or crack and and then nuts come loose. I cant understand why Yamaha doesnt give any help to us on there poor design or at least a brake in the cost parts. Like exhaust, boggie wheels W-arms wiring for the shocks, skids. These are poor designs, and should be recalled LIKE TOYOTA stand behind your products and poor desings, Any way is there a better w arm or after market or replace the whole rear suspension from another competitor.

There's a sponser on this site called Half Baked Powder Coating; they have a beef-up kit that looks like it should take care of the W Arm.

Check'em out.

Yup.. Thats what Im gunna do with mine. Looks like some real quality work..

The only way for yamaha to recall these is for someone to get hurt.. If they make something that fails and someone gets hurt and sues. They will be recalling them... If no one gets hurt, and yamaha is making a bundle off the replacement parts.. They will never recall it..
