03 rx1 turbo. I should know this but Ive been out of the game for a couple years. Motor rebuilt and back together. running heat cycles to break in. after revving up to say 5000rpm it wont idle back down. have to use choke to get it back down to idle rpm. Im assuming air leak of some sort? Anyone point me to the quick fix or just need to go through everything? tia

I think your right it sounds like a vacume leak on all cylinders, is the A/F lean when it is idled up. You can try spaying some WD40 around it to track the leak
Ya got some head work done to that monkey? I hope you remenber how to hang on to it.

Dave didn't you say you had a nitrous back fire? Check your throttle blades , they are most likely bent.

Butterflies or shafts, slides will only hold the needle up. The nitrous explosion could have bent them and allow more air into the engine at idle.
