mountain bars

i am putting a set of 03 mountain bars on my 04 warrior when i buy mountain cables is it possible for me to put a riser on the mountain bars?? if so how high?? thanks Tim

I have a 4" ROX riser on my Viper MTN.. I don't see where you would run into any problems, as long as your cables are long eneough when you're turning. You can go as highas you want. Whatever fits you best... I'm 6-2 and the 4" works great for me.

A 2" is as high as you can go with the '03 bars and '03 RX-1 mtn throttle cable. I'm 5'7" and run 8" fly risers with a fly aerotaper mtn bend bar on my '03 RX-1 mtn. This is about 4" taller than the stock '03 bars.

Here's some pictures of my sled with the fly setup. I bought my throttle cable from Mountain performance. It's longer then the stock mtn cables.

You must like 'em tall like me. The 4" riser with '03 mtn bars will be about the same height as the Fly set up I have now. I think my bars are either 36" or 38" from the running boards. I can't remember for sure.

I previously forgot to add I also have my pivot adapter from my old 2" Sportech ABR risers secured by my stock Yamaha clamps sitting on a 3/4" solid block from MPI. You can see them in the close up of my bars.
