Thanks for the help on the skid plate, all set with that. Now looking for a mountain seat! Must be all black or black with blue, even some white or grey ok. Would like heated but non heated will work as i can just swap my heater from trail seat to a mountain seat. This supply chain mess is making it hard to make your sled how ya want it. Thanks!

Is the mountain seat the same as a Riot seat?
A new Riot seat can be had for under $400.
I am contemplating this same change. It would be nice to get my knees a little further above my hips

I would assume they are the same. I moved to a mountain seat last season and it was worth it. Every 998 should come with that seat.

Look at seat concepts and search for riot seat. Not sure if the 4 stroke pan is the same as the 2 stroke.
