I want to change the mountain strap on my 04 Rx-1 to something a little stiffer. I don't like to floppy stock strap that it comes with. Can you guys give me an idea of a a stiffer strap. I would even think about buying a strao for the apex mountain but, I would want to make sure it fits. Can you guys post some pics of a close up of the apex mountain strap.

I have a powder bar from Mountain Performane on mt bars. It's alot stiffer than the stock '03-'04 straps. I'll get some better pics than this one tomorrow for you when there's better light.

I've got a Power Madd on mine, and like it.
The nice thing about it is that if you are sticking with your stock foam and cover, the clamps on this strap fit under there nicely.
---an fyi for you; if you are staying with the stock foam and cover......cut holes in them and feed the stap through, DON'T cut slits from the edges.

Here's a brighter and more focused pic of the MPI Powder Strap. Like I said it is alot stiffer than the stock '03/'04 straps. It is also wraped in what appears to be cordura nylon (same kind of stuff as my Reima RX-1 pullover).

Hate to say it, but I put a polaris mtn strap on my warrior 2 yrs ago. Didn't like the floppy yamaha strap. The polaris fits nicely.
